Planning for the formal re-launch of Luton Neighbourhood Watch : Wed 22 Jul 18:00

Hello Resident

Neighbourhood Watch is widely respected both locally and nationally, and we are pleased to be working towards the formal re-launch of Luton Neighbourhood Watch Association in the coming weeks. 

As part of this preparation, you are warmly invited to join us for a virtual open community discussion about how we can make Neighbourhood Watch more relevant, effective and meaningful for Luton residents.

This will be a preparatory meeting to discuss the proposed way forward for Luton NHW, including the setting up of a local steering committee and the volunteer opportunities available to support the association. Some of the roles we hope to fill include Treasurer, Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, Communications Lead, Street Coordinator Lead, and Police and Community Safety Liaison.

We will also discuss a possible date and format for the formal re-launch of Luton Neighbourhood Watch.

Please also find attached a copy of the meeting agenda and a draft copy of the proposed Luton Neighbourhood Watch Constitution, which we would like to put forward as the basis for Luton NHW moving forward. We would very much welcome your views, comments and suggestions on this at the meeting.
